The young ladies were sold as slaves by their father to a Geisha house, highly trained entertainers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once arrived on the premises, Satsu was instantly considered unworthy of the status because she was considered unattractive, she was then sold to a brothel
Chiyo on the other hand was considered worth the investment and thus began her journey to become a Geisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sisters tried to run on multiple occasions but failed, so when Chiyo realized that running away only makes their lives harder, she decided to face the challenges ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
