The book starts with a description of the young girl’s place of birth, it describes the conditions in which her family was living.
It also tells the struggles that her family had to deal with because of her father, the man who forced them to quite a society in the first place because of delusional ideas.
He refused to seek help from facilities like hospitals on multiple occasions, and some times in very serious situations.
But that’s not all, the young girl struggled for quite some time with her brother who became abusive and obsessive about her.
After a while, her older brother sent her a message urging her to leave home and to join college for a real chance at an education that she successfully did.
